What is being taunted as the biggest and the first of its kind of global on wire poll the new seven wonders are at last finalised after all the ado and though being myself a tad skeptical about the event I was quite a lot elated on finding Taj Mahal on the list. After all an Indian is an Indian. But as the authorities puddled on each other of deception and non-sense I was actually expecting quite a different set of seven wonders.

I was actually anticipating the Eiffel tower to be the part of the final list but may be due to the lack of publicity and some other ill-forgotten reasons it could’nt make it to there. The stone henge well can’t be actually taken as a wonder given the amount of awe the others evoke which might not be quite sure to go with the stone henge.

As far as the others are concerned few lost out on the grounds of might be the people there are not well connected with the optical fibre or for other mysterious reasons.

Whatever it might be the reasons behind the remaining fourteen of them losing out and these make it to the final list one thing remains quite eloquent that these new seven marvels are chosen by the people them selves and are here to stay for I guess might be for another fifty or so years unless anyone bumps with another of this.

At the end of the day I am quite jaunty about our Taj Mahal having made it at last and all the pains undertaken by the media and all the fuss showing up…
