I’ve been hearing about this app right from the time when Google declared its list of ADC winners.
Its been praised for its innovativeness and creativity that went into develop such an app. Just a bit of a training to your Android phone and it does what ever you want it to do. Like, going into the silent mode as soon as you enter your college premises, or anywhere where the mobile ‘d ‘nt be found in the un-silent mode, change the wall paper according to the place you are in and also tell you what it’d also send twitts to your family and friends with out you even updating them. Sounds fantastic eh! In a nutshell, it is a location-based app with its settings changing based on the location you are in. The twist in the tale though is that this app is literally impossible to be developed for an iPhone given its NDA rights and also a lot of other issues encumbering it. But, sure android does give a scope for all the yearning developers as the best platform for developing mobile apps given the lure going on presently in the mobile industry. First, the iPhone, then comes the Android and then comes the world’s behemoth in mobile market. Even Nokia is said to be planning to do something in sync with this. But, tell you what guess its time Nokia joins the OHA and as the world leader it can do much better to the Android Market than HTC, Moto, Samsung, LG combined. Guess its my own selfish ness that is giving way in here. Nokia has the largest presence in India than the other brands and it has a niche to come up with viable mobiles that comply with the monetary standards of guys like me. So, its wait n watch game.
